Awaken the Giant, the Central Coast's annual men's conference, returns this October with the theme "Total Surrender". As men of God, to become all we were intended in Christ, we must be totally, 100% surrendered to Him. Holding nothing back...leaving no crumbs.
Leading the charge this year will be JP Jones, senior pastor and founder of Crossline Church. Kenny Luck, Presidend of EveryMan Ministries and Men's Pastor at Saddleback Church says this about JP:
“J.P. Jones is a master class teacher with an incredible sense of humor and authentic style. I don’t know any communicator or teacher that rivals his strong biblical center, passion to activate truth in men, and transparent approach. God has certainly gifted this man to transform lives, especially the lives of men. He has been the single greatest influence in my life as Christian.”
Comedy stylings will be courtesy of Mike Williams, who has recorded 13 CDs and 4 DVDs, and a regular on XM comedy radio. Along with laughts, Mike will bring a strong faith that will be evident as he shares his walk throughout the event.

Several local churches are banding together to bring Men's Fraternity to the Central Coast. Men's Fraternity is a series of three, multi-week studies. More than just a rally or Bible study, Men's Fraternity provides men with an encouraging process that teaches how to live a life of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ and directed by the Word of God.
Founded by Dr. Robert Lewis in 1990, Men's Fraternity has grown into a significant ministry reaching men worldwide. Starting with "The Quest for Authentic Manhood", followed by "Winning at Work and at Home", and concluding with "The Great Adventure", each week the lesson is presented on DVD in a large-group setting, followed by a small-group discussion where each man is able to process the truth he has heard with a group of his peers.
